Helpful to take the pressure off, sizing was super confusing. I have a very long torso but it still rolls over the hips a bit, so I'm putting it on/taking it off often.
I am pregnant with my third child and have had diastasis recti since my first pregnancy. It's much worse this time around and I was having pretty severe back pain. I felt an immediate improvement wearing this. I use it most days especially when at work (I'm a physical therapist in a school) or on my feet for long periods of time. I feel more stable and less pain. I would definitely recommend this.
I started using this in my third trimester, but it would have been great to have in the second tri as well, particularly during physical activities like walking and yoga. I use it now mainly on days when I feel I need a little support/lift. It is rather warm to wear it under clothes if the temperature is above 80 F (ca 25 C), but that is to be expected given that it’s an additional layer. Not to mention that I believe this garment to be *much* cooler than traditional “belly bands” with neoprene and Velcro! I am really glad I have this tool in my postpartum arsenal now as well, as I expect it will feel very nice postpartum to have a bit of belly-binding support. My pre-pregnancy size is S (usually 4-6 US in most tops and bottoms) and I bought a ProBump in S, which was the right fit for me. I believe this to be one of my top tools during late pregnancy, especially if you are walking or doing yoga (or similar activities), and I highly recommend!
As a SAHM to a18-month old and pregnant with twins, I needed some support for my growing bump. This has helped me be more playful with my toddler as I was dealing with pelvic pain before. Recommended!
