I’m sure they fit some people great, but definitely not the holy grail like many of the reviews. I ordered a small and am about 145lbs in the 3rd trimester. I am constantly having to pull them up from all areas. I have a pair very similar from H&M for a third of the price and the fit and material just seem so much better than these. I ordered mainly for the extra support, which they fall short since they slide down so easily. A little bit of buyers remorse for something I will wear for only 2 months.
I have quite a few items from bao bei and I absolutely LOvED my postpartum leggings. They were super comfortable and I wanted to get more so I thought why not buy some of the maternity leggings with this pregnancy. Initially putting them on, I noticed the lettering inside the pants was already rubbing off. Once I got them on, the seams started to itch me a bit. I thought I would give them a try so wore them two separate days but could only make it half the day each time before changing into something more comforting. I know everyone’s belly/body is different but the fabric also bunched/started to roll down slightly on my back which was kind of annoying. I don’t have a long torso so that’s probably why. A+ to all other products I have used but I give these a C.
After having leg issues all pregnancy my pelvic floor physio recommended these. The first time I wore them I felt so supported and could walk more comfortably then any previous time during the pregnancy. Absolutely the best
I had pubic symphysis dysfunction in my first pregnancy, and I am trying to do anything in my power to avoid it for my second pregnancy! I found these leggings, and I swear instantly my body and hips felt more supported and stable! It's very hot in the summer currently, so I am mostly just wearing them around the house, but, I look forward to the fall/winter when these will be a staple in my wardrobe! Added bonus... THEY ARE NOT SEE-THROUGH!!! (I ordered a size medium, am 5' 8" and about 176lbs at 21 weeks for reference).
I was skeptical because of the price, but am having the worst time with my sacroiliac joints and was pretty desperate. I'm 5'7", about 190 lbs right now in my 2nd trimester and the medium fit great. When I first put them on, I was thinking ok, a little compression, but comfy. It's when I took them off at the end of the day that I realized just how much they help to stabilize my hips and help with the round ligament pain. This is baby 4 and I'm in my mid 30's struggling, so I am really thankful to have found something that I want to wear daily. They're matte enough for me to pair with nice tops for work, or dress down. You won't be disappointed.
