I love these leggings and started wearing them about 3 days postpartum. I am now 7 days postpartum and never want to take them off. These are much more comfortable than the wraps or underwear that I tried. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that they come up a little too high. On me (I'm 5'2''), they come up past the bra line which causes a bunching there, but because there is no band, it doesn't cause irritation. Overall I would recommend to any postpartum mama!
These pants fit amazing and would totally be a 5 if they had pockets. What post partum mom doesn’t need more pockets to store phone or pacifier or anything on the go.
Quality is great, but the sizing is off. I am 5’4 a size 4 and 145 lb right after delivery the M are way too small. The would be wonderful if I could use them.
I wasted a lot of money on other, less expensive brands only to eventually wind up buying several pair of the Bao Bei leggings. I love both the full length and the crops. My only complaint is that I wish there were pockets. Otherwise, the compression and material are great and I love that I don’t need to worry about exposing my stomach in public when breastfeeding (bye bye double shirt method!).
I have been wearing (aka living in) these leggings since the birth of my first child over 5 years ago. I have severe diastasis and these pants help me to feel held in and held together and have decreased my back pain tremendously. They especially saved me after the birth of my second child 2 and a half years ago. I have always highly recommended these leggings to all of my pregnant friends and family members and to anyone reading this!
This is a pretty good band all in all. It does help with pelvic pain and weigh distribution. It only rolls a little bit and it's comfortable to wear for hours on end.
I really wish they would extend their sizes. Though it stretches it doesn't sit as comfortable the further you stretch and it will roll more often. Im wearing the XL and I'm only 20 weeks so I know it probably won't last the rest of my pregnancy. Plus size pregnant women beyond size 20 deserve pain relief too.
During my first pregnancy I bought a cheap belly support band as I had abdominal separation and it did not seem to provide much relief. This pregnancy I decided to try this support band and I have loved it so far as it provides so much support and I am only half way through this pregnancy. I highly recommend this support band.
I've been struggling with a hernia and diaphragm tightness in my third pregnancy and this support band has been a life saver!
This is was part of my first Bao Bei purchase and worth every penny. I started using it during my first trimester and still using it at 35 weeks pregnant. I’ve used under my work clothes to go to the office, to workout, to clean the house, to walk, you name it! I’m 5’7 1/2 and my pre-pregnancy weight was 150, so I bought a Medium. It’s a very comfortable and firm band. A must purchase during your pregnancy!
Website said they ship within 72 hours and it took them a week to even acknowledge my order instead, plus I sent them multiple emails asking when it would be shipped and they never responded. It took my husband sending a aggravated email to get any sort of communication. Products are severely over priced, not impressed with the belly band I received and the underwear are uncomfortable. Won’t be purchasing anything else from this company.
These leggings were part of my first Bao Bei purchase and I strongly recommend them. I’m 5’ 7 1/2 and was 150lbs pre-pregnancy so I got the Mediums which have been perfect for me. I’ve used them since the diary trimester until now at my 35 weeks. Since I got the black pair I have use them for everything from workouts, to hangouts and just to chill at home. If you have the opportunity (or budget) to splurge on one thing during tour pregnancy, get these leggings (or the band)! I also got the post partum ones so I’ll see how I like those.
So surprised these maternity leggings aren't topping more lists as "the best" I am so glad I came across this brand while researching maternity pants.... I literally wear them every day! Looking sleek, feeling supported, these are perfect for fitness or just daily wear. A super comfortable level of compression, these leggings are the only ones I have found that make me feel like I can go on a run or do jumping jacks without my 25 week bump being jostled around too much. Seriously, buy these. I recommend to all pregnant mamas, especially those who are active!
These leggings are worth every penny. I bought one pair and absolutely love them. I will be purchasing at least another pair and looking into postpartum leggings and support as well. So happy these leggings were recommended to me!
these are hands down the best maternity leggings. have diastasis pretty bad with my third here and these are great. they don’t slip down, there’s no tight uncomfortable band at the top to keep them in place. it’s like a gentle hug that’s so supportive. my back feels better at the end of the day. true to size, go with prepregnancy size and don’t size up. the only thing i wish they had were pockets- a mom needs hands free!! otherwise i would give it 5 stars. hoping that’s part of the design soon :)
I love the feeling of the material however, I am a petite woman (pregnant with my second child) and I have to keep pulling them up. Additionally, I bought them because I am experiencing vulvar varicosity (and pelvic floor issues) so while I love the feel of the fabric they do not aid in the right amount of compression. My original weight is 116 lbs and I’m at 125 now, 5’ 3” for anyone who is my size looking to buy these for compression purposes. Might want to consider a different brand if you’re a similar size! P.S. XS compression underwear is great though!
I am a CHEAP person. I don't buy things, especially expensive things, often. I normally just make do. These were probably the most expensive postpartum item I bought, but they were the best. Unfortunately I got them a few months after delivery, because COVID stopped production for a while. I reallllllllly wish I had them those first couple weeks. I contracted a light prolapse after birth, and I think if I had had these, there may have been a chance I wouldn't have prolapsed. However, that said, this really helped alleviate my prolapse. The support is as good as people say. It helped to mostly relieve that 'tampon feeling' from my prolapse while my body healed and while I did PT. They were great for my mental health for that reason, and they felt great to wear. The fabric is fantastically smooth. Although I have almost fully healed and my prolapse is asymptomatic now, I still wear them when I know I will be doing a high impact activity, and they make me feel safer because of the support. I ordered a small because that's what I was pre-pregnancy, and even though I got huge and gained 50 lbs while pregnant, these still fit me great early postpartum and have shrunk with me as I lost the baby weight. Definitely recommend. I only needed one pair. I wasn't as big a fan for the bralettes, but the bloomers were definitely worth it. They helped my body along in the healing process.
These bloomers are worth the price! They were my favorite thing to wear when my regular undies started to dig in and my lower back needed the extra support during pregnancy and during the early postpartum days when I didn’t want to wear tight clothing but loved the gentle lift.
I'm so glad I splurged a little and got myself these bloomers. They were the first thing I changed into when we got home from the hospital and I ran out of mesh undies. They are super soft and gently cover my c section incision. The ice packs have been a comfort as well and have helped reduce swelling. I ordered an XL which turned out to fit perfectly; I'm normally a medium or large for pants and undies. My sister in law is pregnant and asked me what I'd recommend for postpartum care, and I told her she HAS to get these bloomers no matter what kind of birth experience she plans on having.
Wearing in my third trimester currently and will be wearing in the hospital as well as postpartum! Extremely comfortable and smoothing. Perfect amount of support without being uncomfortable. Wish they came in a 3 pack.
The best item for postpartum comfort! I did a lot research for postpartum items to hold my core and aid in recovery. I had a c-section and these bloomers provided me with the much needed comfort and support for daily wear. These are the only panties I wear to bed, they support my belly when laying in my side and don’t cause any discomfort to my c section scar. I highly recommend these. If you are recovering from a c-section, don’t think twice, order a couple pairs! Thank you so much baobei!
Being 6 months pp and one month no longer breastfeeding, the hormones have come to attack. Bloating to the max. My Bloomers have once again come to save the day. The support for my belly and back feel amazing. And I love that I don’t have to keep pulling up my underwear from rolling down. Thank you for a great product!
I really wanted to love these, & even after the great customer service, it just wasn’t meant to be. I ordered one size up and found the bloomers didn’t hug my belly like I would like and the leg holes were tight & was recommended not to get the smaller size. Not to mention, the massive wedgie I would get after just a few minutes of wear. It’s just not ideal for bigger booty women with a smaller waist. I am optimistic that another product from here would be a better for me.
Order a size down if you are looking to feel some more support/tightness. Love the material and the way it feels. Quality wear just wish I would have ordered one size smaller to feel like I’m getting more support!
While hunting for "cute" high-waisted maternity panties, I came across these bloomers. First of all, they are nice and supportive, especially if you have SPD (pelvic separation)! My OB was impressed with them. I love that I can wear them alone or layered over my regular underwear to get several days of wear out of them. On days when my pain is pretty high, I'm also layering them with the ProBump for extra support. They are especially great to wear for support under dresses because they're underwear! I've got a blush and a black pair, so I can wear them with anything. I'll definitely bring my black pair to the hospital to wear over my mesh undies. I wish I had five more!!
I purchased both the straight edge and scallop edge ones and I prefer the straight edge ones. The sizing was correct according to the size chart, the issue I had was with the scallop ones rolling down constantly (up until recently at 3 weeks postpartum). I tried to wear these during third trimester as many had raved about but these rolled down and continued to do so even in the first 1-2 weeks PP. The straight edge ones did not. They are very comfy and I do recommend them for after a c section. I purchased a medium, at 5’6 and currently 170 (usually 145 pre pregnancy/postpartum). If you are torn at which to buy, I’d purchase the regular cut to avoid any rolling down of the matierial.
I bought these for postpartum wear and was pleased by the comfort and support. They stay in place and are buttery soft. Unfortunately, the seams and double fabric layer in the crotch area began to fray after a few pad removals. I can't speak to the wear during pregnancy, but if you're newly postpartum and still using pads, these pricy undies lose durability quickly.
these are a must have for pregnancy & postpartum. They are soft & comfy & dont roll or slip. Plus, they're so cute!! Im in love
These offer perfect support during pregnancy and postpartum! Wear them over your mesh undies in the beginning for gentle support. I don’t love tight support leggings during early postpartum, so these offer the exact gentle support I need!
This is my first trial of the Bao Bei Bloomers for postpartum relief. They provide great perineal and abdominal compression that gives you much needed support throughout your entire core. I’ve loved them and will recommend them to my patients for all types of postpartum recovery.
These are all they’re hyped up to be - I bought a scalloped and a straight version to see if one was better than the other after reading a couple reviews they may droop a bit- nope, they’re both perfect. Will buy more!
Returning for a larger size and hoping that will work. Otherwise, seems like great quality and materials
ProBump™ Pregnancy Belly Support Band - CRÈME
Do not sit on this product like I did! This is my first pregnancy, and I will be 36 when my baby is born. I started struggling around Week 31. My belly, back, and hips just hurt, and I was doing all the things--keeping up with my water, taking warm baths with pregnancy flakes, using some magnesium lotion, etc. While these things do help, the root problem was that the band I was using just wasn't supporting my bump. I got my ProBump in the mail about 30 minutes ago. The relief I felt was instantaneous! After wearing it for 10 minutes, I called my husband while he was at work to tell him how much better I feel wearing the ProBump band. I didn't know I didn't have to be miserable! If you are looking for something to buy a pregnant friend, please buy them this band. The size chart is spot on, too, if you're wondering about the size.
I'm currently 36w pregnant and this band is perfect in almost every way. My primary complaint before wearing this was the constant pressure on my pelvis. I'm happy to report, with this, such pain was immediately alleviated. My primary complaint after wearing this is beyond baobei's control -- baby's movements! Whenever she moves while I'm wearing this, my gosh do I really feel it, and sometimes it's painful! (insert crying emoji). So if you've got a little dancer, be warned, wearing this will emphasize every one of baby's little movements.
Support is okay, but I had a group of peloton moms rave about this for round ligament pain and I don’t feel any different with this versus compression leggings. KT tape has helped more.
Right now I am at 19 weeks pregnant, my pre-pregnancy size was 2-6 depending on the brand. This band is made of great fabric, feels great, and comfortable, I've worn it working at home, walking, spinning, and doing some low-impact workouts, it didn't budge. The only thing is it a smidge big, not like its going to fall off or anything, and I imagine in a few weeks it will fit better, as I am steadily growing these days :) With my first pregnancy, I got DR pretty bad and this band will hopefully help prevent that this time, paired with better workouts. If anything it makes me feel supported and reminds me to breathe correctly and sit up straight - which is honestly really helpful. I would have def given it 5 stars if it was a little smaller.
Just entered my 3rd trimester and this has been a life saver. It has greatly decreased pelvic and lower back discomfort. They also had phenomenal customer service and resent my package for free when I accidentally had my order sent to the wrong address.
I’m so grateful for this item. I used to think pieces like this were luxury items, but really, this is a necessity to help protect your core during pregnancy. (Should have used with my first pregnancy but now it’s a necessity for my severe DR.) I tried getting away with a cheap store brand but this bao bei band is completely different and completely worth the money ..so much more supportive and surprisingly breathable.Thank you for making this product.
I wish I purchased this sooner!! I had purchased the bloomers early in my pregnancy and loved them. I decide some where around 33 weeks to order the pro bump. It arrived and I instantly loved the support I felt. My LO was born at 35 weeks so I didn’t get to use it as bump support for long. This is now an essential in my 4th trimester wardrobe. It helps with back pain, cramping, and core support as I move around. I have loved every product I have ordered!!! Thank you Bao Bei!
Purchased this at 36 weeks pregnant, really wish I would have gotten it earlier on to help support my abs. It has definitely helped relieve my lower back pain and rib pain. Definitely recommend. I only wish it was slightly longer, I’m 5’9”, fits fine but I could handle it if it was just slightly longer
I have not yet had the chance to wear the bloomers as I ordered a size small, but was sent a size XS. Retuned them and waiting for a refund.
Pre pregnancy 145 lbs, 5’9”, dress size 4 sometimes 6. got a size small, they are a bit tight around my legs, and tend to roll down on my pregnant belly. Maybe I will like them more for postpartum. I wish I had gotten the same color as my pro bump so I could wear them together and have them match. I really love the pro bump and these seem just ok, but I might like them better for recovery
For reference, I am 5'1, 185lbs, 29 weeks. I followed the sizing guide and got 2 large bloomers but they are so big that they are constantly falling down my belly and there is an odd bunch of extra fabric on each side of my butt. It's my own fault for not going with my gut and returning both pairs, and I took the sticker off of one pair thinking that I can use them closer to delivery. I am returning the other large pair for a medium and hoping those are a better fit for now and after baby.
Besides the sizing issue, I like how these are really high wasted and thicker material. Hopefully the medium size gives me the "hug" feeling everyone is talking about.
I used to ask my husband to hug me from behind and support my pregnant belly in doing so and it was always the best relief for the few seconds he’d do it but now these bloomers feel like that all day and it’s the best!!
These are really supportive and comfortable - they stay up perfectly (so do the scallop- I ordered both). I'll be ordering more and can't wait until black scallop is back in stock!
I had a c-section and was cleared by my doctor to wear these. I absolutely love them! They are supportive and make me feel so good about my PP body!
I love my shorts, 😍the compression is perfect and it looks great.
Too small on the bottom, and loose on the belly.
At 29 weeks pregnant these give nice support to wear under my scrubs while working 12 hour shifts! My only complaint is that the cottons area where your crotch is supposed to be is short and placed far back in the bloomers for me? So it covers my bum more than my front if ya know what I mean. Wish it was a little longer/ more to the front of the undies for hygiene purposes because I’m now wearing regular undies under these!
I had the black bloomers and loved them postpartum! I wear them everywhere. They make me feel supported in the abdominal area and even sexy since I can't fit into any of my clothes! I also wear them when I go swimming in the kiddo's pool. You will feel so good and vibrant when you wear these! I can't say enough about them.
ProBump™ Pregnancy Belly Support Band - Vivid
I have tried three different types of support bands and this one does the best job of taking pressure off of my back lifting my baby boy belly bump up and is overall very comfortable. This is my second baby and I have been having a ton of BH contractions and this band helps me to not notice them nearly as much. It’s a must wear every day for me. I take it off to sleep but am very tempted not to. For reference I am 34 weeks pregnant 5’1 and started this pregnancy a size 0. I was a little worried it might not be tight enough to provide the support I was hopping for, but overall I am just very sad I didn’t buy it earlier. Highly recommend!
I’m almost 33 weeks pregnant, and threw out my back (probably from chasing my other 2 toddlers around). I purchased this support band to see if it would help me get both core and back support while carrying the weight of the baby plus the demands of being a mom of a 1 and 3 year old, and that’s exactly what it does! I feel supported all around, I feel like when I bend over, everything is held together instead of my muscles giving out, and I just feel so strong. This is going to be A part of my daily Wardrobe for the next 7 weeks (and probably after pregnancy too!) it’s worth every penny and I’ll most likely be purchasing another one! Thank you for the amazing, 360 degree support!!!
I’m currently 38 weeks pregnant! I started wearing The probump 37 weeks! I wish I had It sooner! It’s a great form of support really making you feel secure and takes a huge weight off you lower back and lower abdominals. I am personal trainer and it’s helped my workouts so much I recommend wearing the ProBump as soon as your bump makes its debuts! It’s really a game changer.
I am currently 27 weeks pregnant with my third child and wish I had worn the ProBump with my first 2 pregnancies! I am still running and doing HIIT workouts (with modifications as needed) and feel so well supported with the band ( I honestly don't think I could do what I can now without it!) It helps alleviate some SI joint/low back pain I feel with my pregnancies and cues me to contract my core while providing the perfect amount of relief from pregnancy aches/pains. Also- I am a size 0/2 pre-pregnancy and the size small fits perfectly (and I LOVE the new vivid color!), I began wearing it around 19 weeks and when my stomach was a little smaller I would just fold it to provide a little more support. Highly recommend to all pregnant mamas out there!!!
This tank is so soft and comfy, nursing friendly and I'd live in it day and night if I could! Size M/L fits well and length is on point for fluctuating postpartum size (currently size 10, 5'8, 38DD).
I love these leggings, they are great for working out or lounging around. Thick material and great stretch, my only complaint would be the side pockets are small, I couldn’t fit my iPhone in them. But it might hold keys and chapstick!
