I have 3 pairs, and have worn them as support at 26 weeks pregnant so far. I did reach out for sizing advice, and it was spot on! I have a 49" hip currently, and my belly is around 48" at 26 weeks and XL fits me well. So far they do help ease pelvic floor discomfort and some round ligament pain I am experiencing. Looking forward to seeing how they do as I get further along and during the fourth trimester.
I enjoyed the support, but the top kept rolling down and therefore the support was short lived.
My sizing: I’m usually 165lbs pre-pregnancy, 5’10”, was 195lbs pregnant. I exercise and eat well regularly. Some have complained of the leg openings being a little tight, but for me they fit great. Not sure what I weigh now- JUST postpartum with my second c-section. I ordered a Large and they were a bit too tight on my belly during my third trimester, BUT so worth it because these are the ultimate in support for my postpartum body. Doesn’t grip me in the wrong places nor does it irritate my incision. I do not purchase expensive clothing, especially not for a specific time period…these are so worth it. The way I feel while wearing them makes me feel like I’m getting a constant hug from a caring Physical Therapist who knows how to not squeeze my bladder, supports my back, and makes my abdomen feel more secure/put together and I definitely feel I’ll recover better and faster because of them. JUST GET THEM if you are able!!
I’m cautious when it comes to buying anything maternity related—Especially pricier items. I convinced myself to try these because of the pelvic pressure I’ve had this pregnancy. I was hoping they would help reduced the aching I feel after a long day of standing/walking. These fit exactly how I’d hoped! Cut around the bottom is exactly like my hipster brief undies. I’m usually a S in underwear and ordered XS bloomers. Very comfy support—I’m glad I pulled the trigger to purchase.
I wore these thru pregnancy and recently gave birth and now wear them postpartum. These are SO comfortable and give you just enough support to feel “normal” after giving birth. Highly recommend!!
