I really like this belly band. I would say it has LIGHT support but also helps keep my maternity pants from falling down too much haha! I do find that as a bigger person (XL) the band feels like it could be a bit longer for comfort and it tends to fold over or slide down. I am happy with it but thought it would be a bit more supportive than it is.
This band is comfortable and is great to wear over my non maternity leggings to allow me to cover my belly comfortably. The only con is that it doesnt have much support. It is just tight compression fabric, nothing that really supports the back or bump, so i have to wear an additional pregnancy band that lifts the bump which i was hoping the ProBump would replace. Also, as others have mentioned in the reviews the band slides up when u walk and Bao Bei needs to add a non slip band to the bottom.
I use it for workouts and walks and it’s been so supportive on my growing belly! I’m hopeful that as I get bigger it’ll do even more wonders for this third pregnancy. I’ve also used it over pants that don’t zip and button, perfect! Doesn’t slip & supports for any occasion.
My sciatic got worse with each pregnancy and this time around I'm a full time pre-k teacher. So the support from this band is a miracle in itself. I feel less pain in my sciatic and the support of my bump is helping my posture and lessoning the amount of time I need to run to the bathroom. I've always greatly appreciated the Bao Bei brand. You can count on every product having mom to be as the utmost importance, prioritizing the pregnant body's needs through all stages of the journey.
Overall the ProBump has been a good supportive band, but my one complaint is that while it works great when I wear shorts (and tuck it inside the shorts) it sucks when I wear running tights (due to both being similar materials). If I put the waist of the tights over the band, my pants slide down and if I put the band over the waist, the band slides up and over my bump. The ProBand could benefit from no slip silicon strips on the inside (which I’m trying to figure out how to do myself). Other than that it’s been good.
This is a pretty good band all in all. It does help with pelvic pain and weigh distribution. It only rolls a little bit and it's comfortable to wear for hours on end.
I really wish they would extend their sizes. Though it stretches it doesn't sit as comfortable the further you stretch and it will roll more often. Im wearing the XL and I'm only 20 weeks so I know it probably won't last the rest of my pregnancy. Plus size pregnant women beyond size 20 deserve pain relief too.
During my first pregnancy I bought a cheap belly support band as I had abdominal separation and it did not seem to provide much relief. This pregnancy I decided to try this support band and I have loved it so far as it provides so much support and I am only half way through this pregnancy. I highly recommend this support band.
I've been struggling with a hernia and diaphragm tightness in my third pregnancy and this support band has been a life saver!
This is was part of my first Bao Bei purchase and worth every penny. I started using it during my first trimester and still using it at 35 weeks pregnant. I’ve used under my work clothes to go to the office, to workout, to clean the house, to walk, you name it! I’m 5’7 1/2 and my pre-pregnancy weight was 150, so I bought a Medium. It’s a very comfortable and firm band. A must purchase during your pregnancy!
Website said they ship within 72 hours and it took them a week to even acknowledge my order instead, plus I sent them multiple emails asking when it would be shipped and they never responded. It took my husband sending a aggravated email to get any sort of communication. Products are severely over priced, not impressed with the belly band I received and the underwear are uncomfortable. Won’t be purchasing anything else from this company.
I have the bralettes in a few colors and this black is the best! Love how you can't see anything through it and it can be paired with any shirt. I highly recommend getting this black bralette and one color!
If you’re looking for a comfortable nursing bra that doesn’t dig in or leave marks, look no further. Unfortunately did not find these bras until post partum but wish I could have worn during pregnancy!
They offer enough support while giving you the almost not wearing a bra feeling.
I've always worn bralettes and this is by far the prettiest and most comfy I've ever owned. It's somehow both incredibly stretchy and supportive enough, has a perfect lenght and pretty back. I really don't understand how it can be so comfortable! I'm also nursing and this is PERFECT, just pull it down and your boob is free. I love that it has no nursing clips to deal with and that it has a normal shape compared to most nursing bras, so it fits under everything and doesn't look like a nursing bra. Since I received it I've been wearing it 24/7. I wish it came in more neutral colors so I could wear it all the time, under everything, forever!
At first I was skeptical about this bralette since I had just gotten a soft, sleeper nursing bra from Kindred Bravely. When I initially put it on I didn't think it would be as comfortable, but man oh man I love it! It is so easy to both pump and nurse and actually gives me some support (smaller chested over here). After my first full day wearing it, I immediately ordered another in shell. They go perfectly with the postpartum crop pants - I can literally pull the bralette right over the top lining of the pants and then throw on a long cardigan for a perfectly acceptable outfit to wear in public. Super happy I took the chance on these!
I had originally ordered two other colors very early on in the first trimester of my second (current) pregnancy and I quickly decided that I should order more colors because I loved the stretchiness and support that I felt from them. I now have four colors and I still. want. more!!
These leggings are amazing!! I am pregnant with my third child and my body is definitely different this time around. I have tried SO MANY leggings looking for ones that are truly opaque and I don’t need to worry about snagging. These are it! Even more importantly, they support you in all the right places and come in a beautiful color!
These leggings were part of my first Bao Bei purchase and I strongly recommend them. I’m 5’ 7 1/2 and was 150lbs pre-pregnancy so I got the Mediums which have been perfect for me. I’ve used them since the diary trimester until now at my 35 weeks. Since I got the black pair I have use them for everything from workouts, to hangouts and just to chill at home. If you have the opportunity (or budget) to splurge on one thing during tour pregnancy, get these leggings (or the band)! I also got the post partum ones so I’ll see how I like those.
So surprised these maternity leggings aren't topping more lists as "the best" I am so glad I came across this brand while researching maternity pants.... I literally wear them every day! Looking sleek, feeling supported, these are perfect for fitness or just daily wear. A super comfortable level of compression, these leggings are the only ones I have found that make me feel like I can go on a run or do jumping jacks without my 25 week bump being jostled around too much. Seriously, buy these. I recommend to all pregnant mamas, especially those who are active!
These leggings are worth every penny. I bought one pair and absolutely love them. I will be purchasing at least another pair and looking into postpartum leggings and support as well. So happy these leggings were recommended to me!
these are hands down the best maternity leggings. have diastasis pretty bad with my third here and these are great. they don’t slip down, there’s no tight uncomfortable band at the top to keep them in place. it’s like a gentle hug that’s so supportive. my back feels better at the end of the day. true to size, go with prepregnancy size and don’t size up. the only thing i wish they had were pockets- a mom needs hands free!! otherwise i would give it 5 stars. hoping that’s part of the design soon :)
As soon as I put these on, I knew they were exactly what I needed. They are amazing. I am 16 weeks pregnant with twins and feel like they will provide the much needed support that I need now and throughout my pregnancy. Thank you for making these!
The absolute most comfortable maternity item I own. They make me feel supported and get me through the long days.
I am a CHEAP person. I don't buy things, especially expensive things, often. I normally just make do. These were probably the most expensive postpartum item I bought, but they were the best. Unfortunately I got them a few months after delivery, because COVID stopped production for a while. I reallllllllly wish I had them those first couple weeks. I contracted a light prolapse after birth, and I think if I had had these, there may have been a chance I wouldn't have prolapsed. However, that said, this really helped alleviate my prolapse. The support is as good as people say. It helped to mostly relieve that 'tampon feeling' from my prolapse while my body healed and while I did PT. They were great for my mental health for that reason, and they felt great to wear. The fabric is fantastically smooth. Although I have almost fully healed and my prolapse is asymptomatic now, I still wear them when I know I will be doing a high impact activity, and they make me feel safer because of the support. I ordered a small because that's what I was pre-pregnancy, and even though I got huge and gained 50 lbs while pregnant, these still fit me great early postpartum and have shrunk with me as I lost the baby weight. Definitely recommend. I only needed one pair. I wasn't as big a fan for the bralettes, but the bloomers were definitely worth it. They helped my body along in the healing process.
These bloomers are worth the price! They were my favorite thing to wear when my regular undies started to dig in and my lower back needed the extra support during pregnancy and during the early postpartum days when I didn’t want to wear tight clothing but loved the gentle lift.
I'm so glad I splurged a little and got myself these bloomers. They were the first thing I changed into when we got home from the hospital and I ran out of mesh undies. They are super soft and gently cover my c section incision. The ice packs have been a comfort as well and have helped reduce swelling. I ordered an XL which turned out to fit perfectly; I'm normally a medium or large for pants and undies. My sister in law is pregnant and asked me what I'd recommend for postpartum care, and I told her she HAS to get these bloomers no matter what kind of birth experience she plans on having.
I am currently 34 weeks pregnant, 34D cup size. This bralette is very comfortable and a nice color. I am a bit concerned about how the support will be when I am breastfeeding as the straps are thin and do not provided much support.
I don't think they could make a more perfect bra if they tried. Amazing customer service as well. I got a S/M for a tighter fitted feel. I could fit into both sizes just depends on the fit you're looking for.
5'7" 160 lbs - cup size 36B
I need more! Fit, color, style is a dream!
I ordered a medium/large and the fit is a little tight. I am 5'7" and weigh 150 pounds so I thought for sure it wouldn't be so snug. I was also pretty disappointed in the material. It felt cheap and scratchy. I would definitely return it if I had the option. It's a bummer that I can't, for 35 bucks a piece.
I first tried these bralettes after seeing rave reviews form a friend on Instagram. This was after my first pregnancy and after I was done nursing but before my second pregnancy. Even though I wasn't pregnant or nursing at the time (and not even freshly postpartum) I LOVED them immediately! I very quickly bought another. They are the softest, most comfortable bra I've ever worn--I can even sleep in them! They stretch (but don't stretch out) so they allow your body and breast size to change while still remaining supportive and comfortable! I'm now pregnant again and have been wearing them this entire time. I can already see how easy they will be to nurse in (just pull right down!) and will easily hold a nursing pad without any discomfort. I made sure to gift one of these to my friend who is in her first pregnancy and will welcome her daughter in a few months because I think every new mama should be able to feel comfortable and supported throughout each stage of their journey! 10/10 recommend!
I am 27 weeks now and have started to feel some aches and pains, putting on this band instantly makes me feel a little more supported! Agreed with a previous reviewer, it's like a sports bra for the belly!
Returning for a larger size and hoping that will work. Otherwise, seems like great quality and materials
ProBump™ Pregnancy Belly Support Band - CRÈME
Do not sit on this product like I did! This is my first pregnancy, and I will be 36 when my baby is born. I started struggling around Week 31. My belly, back, and hips just hurt, and I was doing all the things--keeping up with my water, taking warm baths with pregnancy flakes, using some magnesium lotion, etc. While these things do help, the root problem was that the band I was using just wasn't supporting my bump. I got my ProBump in the mail about 30 minutes ago. The relief I felt was instantaneous! After wearing it for 10 minutes, I called my husband while he was at work to tell him how much better I feel wearing the ProBump band. I didn't know I didn't have to be miserable! If you are looking for something to buy a pregnant friend, please buy them this band. The size chart is spot on, too, if you're wondering about the size.
I'm currently 36w pregnant and this band is perfect in almost every way. My primary complaint before wearing this was the constant pressure on my pelvis. I'm happy to report, with this, such pain was immediately alleviated. My primary complaint after wearing this is beyond baobei's control -- baby's movements! Whenever she moves while I'm wearing this, my gosh do I really feel it, and sometimes it's painful! (insert crying emoji). So if you've got a little dancer, be warned, wearing this will emphasize every one of baby's little movements.
I bought this third trimester and wish I had had this my whole pregnancy! Greatly reduced back and hip pain, helped me feel more supported while standing and chasing a toddler and it's perfect for support while working out!!
Right now I am at 19 weeks pregnant, my pre-pregnancy size was 2-6 depending on the brand. This band is made of great fabric, feels great, and comfortable, I've worn it working at home, walking, spinning, and doing some low-impact workouts, it didn't budge. The only thing is it a smidge big, not like its going to fall off or anything, and I imagine in a few weeks it will fit better, as I am steadily growing these days :) With my first pregnancy, I got DR pretty bad and this band will hopefully help prevent that this time, paired with better workouts. If anything it makes me feel supported and reminds me to breathe correctly and sit up straight - which is honestly really helpful. I would have def given it 5 stars if it was a little smaller.
Just entered my 3rd trimester and this has been a life saver. It has greatly decreased pelvic and lower back discomfort. They also had phenomenal customer service and resent my package for free when I accidentally had my order sent to the wrong address.
I’m so grateful for this item. I used to think pieces like this were luxury items, but really, this is a necessity to help protect your core during pregnancy. (Should have used with my first pregnancy but now it’s a necessity for my severe DR.) I tried getting away with a cheap store brand but this bao bei band is completely different and completely worth the money ..so much more supportive and surprisingly breathable.Thank you for making this product.
I wish I purchased this sooner!! I had purchased the bloomers early in my pregnancy and loved them. I decide some where around 33 weeks to order the pro bump. It arrived and I instantly loved the support I felt. My LO was born at 35 weeks so I didn’t get to use it as bump support for long. This is now an essential in my 4th trimester wardrobe. It helps with back pain, cramping, and core support as I move around. I have loved every product I have ordered!!! Thank you Bao Bei!
I have not yet had the chance to wear the bloomers as I ordered a size small, but was sent a size XS. Retuned them and waiting for a refund.
Pre pregnancy 145 lbs, 5’9”, dress size 4 sometimes 6. got a size small, they are a bit tight around my legs, and tend to roll down on my pregnant belly. Maybe I will like them more for postpartum. I wish I had gotten the same color as my pro bump so I could wear them together and have them match. I really love the pro bump and these seem just ok, but I might like them better for recovery
For reference, I am 5'1, 185lbs, 29 weeks. I followed the sizing guide and got 2 large bloomers but they are so big that they are constantly falling down my belly and there is an odd bunch of extra fabric on each side of my butt. It's my own fault for not going with my gut and returning both pairs, and I took the sticker off of one pair thinking that I can use them closer to delivery. I am returning the other large pair for a medium and hoping those are a better fit for now and after baby.
Besides the sizing issue, I like how these are really high wasted and thicker material. Hopefully the medium size gives me the "hug" feeling everyone is talking about.
I used to ask my husband to hug me from behind and support my pregnant belly in doing so and it was always the best relief for the few seconds he’d do it but now these bloomers feel like that all day and it’s the best!!
These are really supportive and comfortable - they stay up perfectly (so do the scallop- I ordered both). I'll be ordering more and can't wait until black scallop is back in stock!
This is by far the best nursing bra I have found! It’s so extremely comfy, the colors and design are so cute, and I love wearing them every day! Plus it’s easy to nurse my baby whenever I need. Have purchased enough to wear every day and would recommend to anyone!
I’m a 36c-ish when I’m pregnant/breastfeeding. Both sizes technically fit me but I’m pregnant right now so ordering the larger size makes more sense. When my milk comes in, I will fluctuate on the bigger side. So, I recommend going that route if you want it to be more versatile. 😊 Great and comfortable bra so far. Highly recommend!
This bra is amazing. It's soft, easy to wear, and at 36 weeks pregnant - the only comfortable bra I own. I plan to continue to use this as a postpartum bra and then as a low impact bra for yoga/around the house after. I just bought a second!!
I'm a 36D and found the M/L band to be uncomfortably tight. The material is light and thin, so if you're hoping for any coverage know that your nipples will be very visible with this lighter color. Overall, the bra is just "good enough." I'm in my 2nd trimester and don't expect it to last more than a couple months, honestly. For mamas needing a bigger size than me ... be careful.
I want to love this bra. I really, really do. I actually own 3 bralettes. I began wearing them around 7months pregnant and now I am 7 weeks post partum. I am exclusively nursing and love how easy they are to pull down/up to feed babe. That being said, ALL THREE of my bralettes have the seams ripping apart by the straps. I was advised this is “normal wear”. So, if you’re okay with replacing these bras every 3 months, then they’re great! But I cannot afford to buy nursing bras every 2 months simply because they cannot hold up to normal wear and tear. Great concept but product design has to be looked at. Unacceptable for all 3 bralettes to be garbage after only SIX weeks of newborn feeds.
This is exactly what I’ve been looking for! Love the fit and feel of this nursing bra. Just had my third baby so I’ve been through many nursing bras and this is by far my favorite!!
Extremely comfortable but I wish it had pads in it
I made a mistake of wearing a regular bra one day...
After a few hours of wear, it became really uncomfortable. I had to readjust and pull on it bc it started to hurt.
I quickly realized that the band began to feel tight since my bust fluctuates in size bc I’m nursing.
As soon as I got home, I took the bra off and saw that the band actually burned my skin!!
I got my laptop and immediately ordered 2 more bralettes from BaoBei (one in this color) to make sure I have a bra to use when I’m wearing a white top.
Bao Bei bralettes are extremely comfortable. They stretch and don’t get weak after many washes. I’m very pleased with the quality and convenient design to make feedings effortless anytime, anywhere for my little dude.
I have nursed 2 babies in the last 2 years and this is by far the most comfortable nursing bra!
This bralette is a great addition to my other nursing bras. The fabric is flexible yet supportive and doesn't sag after frequent use like my other bras. Fits more like a sports bra but it's functional for the breastfeeding mom. Next time I order one I will order a size up. Initially ordered based on the sizing chart but fits a bit on the small side for me.
I am giving this 3 stars because while I do love the material, (and am still optimistic that it will be great for nursing when the top of my belly size reduces) during my 3rd trimester, the band CONSTANTLY bunches underneath my boobs and gets so uncomfortable. I find myself adjusting it and pulling it down all of the time. I followed the fit guides and spent lots of time making sure I was ordering the correct size per the company, but I am a little let down and feel bummed. I am still wearing the bralette when I go out in public, but find myself taking it off once I get home. It's not the worst but honestly not the best. For the record, I am a 40D (38B/C pre-pregnancy) and ordered the M/L. I feel like I, and probably lots of other women, would benefit from a bigger size! I don't know how it would fit anyone else with a bigger chest!
This bra is great, the color is just awesome, I particularly like the long-ish straps. Sports bras often don't have long enough straps or ride up, I guess my boobs are a little low. This bra stays put, it doesn't offer a lot of support but great for WFH, chasing my toddler, and low-impact workouts.
I'm 35w pregnant and absolutely miserable. I got a bunch of maternity hand-me-downs from various friends that just weren't cutting it for me, namely the bras. Pre-pregnancy, I could easily go braless. As happens with pregnancy though, now I can't, but everything I have causes me PAIN. Way too tight, digging into my ribs, squishing my boobs, etc. I saw an ad for these that lead me to reading the reviews. I went out on a limb and ordered 3 because I just couldn't take either the pain or going braless anymore. And oh my god, the FLEXIBILITY! These things are super stretchy but still supportive. They don't dig into my ribs! My biggest worry was sizing. I usually go back and forth between a small and medium in most anything. I decided to size up (especially since my primary complaint before was being squeezed too much), and I wasn't disappointed! Another plus: I love yellow!
I love these bras! Very comfortable and supportive
Too small on the bottom, and loose on the belly.
At 29 weeks pregnant these give nice support to wear under my scrubs while working 12 hour shifts! My only complaint is that the cottons area where your crotch is supposed to be is short and placed far back in the bloomers for me? So it covers my bum more than my front if ya know what I mean. Wish it was a little longer/ more to the front of the undies for hygiene purposes because I’m now wearing regular undies under these!
I had the black bloomers and loved them postpartum! I wear them everywhere. They make me feel supported in the abdominal area and even sexy since I can't fit into any of my clothes! I also wear them when I go swimming in the kiddo's pool. You will feel so good and vibrant when you wear these! I can't say enough about them.
Approaching my third trimester and already in love with this set! Please make more colors!! The bra is ridiculously comfortable. Can’t speak to its function during nursing yet, but it’s the type of bra you won’t want to take off. It’s not too tight, gentle support, I’ve slept in it. A soon to be first time mom, I’ve recommended this set to a pregnant friend and asked my husband to buy me a few more for Mother’s Day :) Underwear are also comfortable (I like highwaisted clothing) and it helps that the set feels super cute on!
Material I absorb and beyond, so comfortable
Wish I had stumbled across this brand sooner. Softest fabric ever. So comfortable. I was so happy I went back and bought the shorts. Can’t wait to get them.
The Earth color is really beautiful. My bralette size fell right between an XS/S and M/L and I wish I would have sized down for more support but still very comfort for lounging/sleeping. Overall happy with this purchase and this set is packed in my hospital bag!
This set is by far the softest, comfiest maternity (or otherwise) set I've ever had. I adore the color, the fit, the comfort and having such a lovely set makes me feel more put together, even if nobody sees. Will be getting more!
ProBump™ Pregnancy Belly Support Band - Vivid
I have tried three different types of support bands and this one does the best job of taking pressure off of my back lifting my baby boy belly bump up and is overall very comfortable. This is my second baby and I have been having a ton of BH contractions and this band helps me to not notice them nearly as much. It’s a must wear every day for me. I take it off to sleep but am very tempted not to. For reference I am 34 weeks pregnant 5’1 and started this pregnancy a size 0. I was a little worried it might not be tight enough to provide the support I was hopping for, but overall I am just very sad I didn’t buy it earlier. Highly recommend!
I’m almost 33 weeks pregnant, and threw out my back (probably from chasing my other 2 toddlers around). I purchased this support band to see if it would help me get both core and back support while carrying the weight of the baby plus the demands of being a mom of a 1 and 3 year old, and that’s exactly what it does! I feel supported all around, I feel like when I bend over, everything is held together instead of my muscles giving out, and I just feel so strong. This is going to be A part of my daily Wardrobe for the next 7 weeks (and probably after pregnancy too!) it’s worth every penny and I’ll most likely be purchasing another one! Thank you for the amazing, 360 degree support!!!
I’m currently 38 weeks pregnant! I started wearing The probump 37 weeks! I wish I had It sooner! It’s a great form of support really making you feel secure and takes a huge weight off you lower back and lower abdominals. I am personal trainer and it’s helped my workouts so much I recommend wearing the ProBump as soon as your bump makes its debuts! It’s really a game changer.
I am currently 27 weeks pregnant with my third child and wish I had worn the ProBump with my first 2 pregnancies! I am still running and doing HIIT workouts (with modifications as needed) and feel so well supported with the band ( I honestly don't think I could do what I can now without it!) It helps alleviate some SI joint/low back pain I feel with my pregnancies and cues me to contract my core while providing the perfect amount of relief from pregnancy aches/pains. Also- I am a size 0/2 pre-pregnancy and the size small fits perfectly (and I LOVE the new vivid color!), I began wearing it around 19 weeks and when my stomach was a little smaller I would just fold it to provide a little more support. Highly recommend to all pregnant mamas out there!!!
